Community Partners & Our Donors
Every year we work with a variety of community partners to bring dynamic academic and enrichment experiences our students. Together we are committed to helping each student reach their full potential. Support from philanthropic corporate and foundation partners, public & private schools, community organizations and compassionate volunteers, all come together as a rich network to make our summer and year-round enrichment programs an inspiring success.

Horizons works with Corporate and Foundation Donors & Partners
Horizons Hampton Roads thrives thanks to the support of both Corporate and Foundation grants. Funding to support quality programming, as well as community service projects, come together to make our life transforming program possible. To name a few of our supporters in 2022, Horizons Hampton Roads received $50,000 from Sentara Foundation to support transportation for our Norfolk campus students, along with funding for our Year-Round High School program students to explore careers in medical fields, and they sponsored our Summer 2022 Celebration Luncheon. The Beazley Foundation provided major funding for our Portsmouth campus’ general operations. The Blocker Foundation came on board to provide for intensive reading instruction for our students below grade level. Tidewater Children’s Foundation provided for 45 fifth graders to participate in The Little Medical School’s “Wilderness Medicine” class – teaching them survival skills for a lifetime!
