Horizons Hampton Roads is an independent program and not a part of the public school systems, Chesapeake Bay Academy, Norfolk Collegiate, or Portsmouth Catholic Regional Schools.
As a partner with Horizons Hampton Roads, Chesapeake Bay Academy provides the place for summer sessions each year AND a wealth of expertise and administrative help. Since 1989, Chesapeake Bay Academy has been fulfilling the dreams of students with unique talents, abilities and needs through a philosophy driven by a passionate belief in every student's potential and guided by commitment to shaping their strengths and empowering them to achieve success. CBA nurtures its students in an atmosphere where learning differences are seen as opportunities, not obstacles. At the heart of CBA's approach is the individualized instruction it offers throughout its academic programs. CBA instructors match teaching styles to individual learning styles, and share a personal commitment to support each student socially and emotionally.
